Just picture the scene, it's David's birthday and he thinks that he's going to North Shields for a slap up meal at a new restaurant, but do we have a surprise for him ? He knows nothing until he arrives at the ferry terminal and is faced by a barrage of photographers and video cameras ! |
All aboard the ferry and straight to our cabin, just like my ex-girlfriend - Small But Perfectly Formed !

Upon arrival in Holland a short sightseeing tour explains that there are no public bogs in Amsterdam so we nip straight into the swanky top class hotel near the bus station and make full use of their high-tech bogs that flush themselves when you are finished - NICE !

No - That's the wrong way ! Sorry but we couldn't take pictures in the Red Light District. Apparently you can get locked up if you're not careful ! |

Didn't really see much else after that to be honest, a couple of souvenir shops which were full to the brim with "Adult Oriented" gifts and lots of bikes (That's the ones you RIDE, . . . . . . .Oh bugger you know what I mean the CYCLES !). Mind you I think my memory was effected by the "Local Produce" and I'm sure we got up to more exiting things, if only I could remember !
Anyway we're planning another trip and taking the DIGITAL cameras this time !
